Solace Test Results
January 14th, 2013
Test results came back – values are slightly better! I’ll take “slightly better” over “worse” anytime! Solace so very much enjoyed the bath our volunteers, Marie and Bob, gave him today. Please continue to keep Solace in your prayers!
Sincerely,
Theresa

Hello BHFER. You know me as the wife of Bill Stell who has pledged a payment of $50 a month first to go for Solace and then if it happens that he no longer needs donations please use it where it will do the most good. I found you online through someone else and have been watching your organization since the day you found Solace. Best of luck with all you do. As I said to my husband, Solace may not make it but at least he will die surrounded by kind hearts and his belly will be full. Kathie
Hi Kathie! What a really nice and thoughtful thing for you and your husband to do! I emailed Bill a short update on Solace. I’ve been down with the flu but hope to be back up and going tomorrow. I have a lot of faith in Solace – I think he’s going to make it. He is adored and doted on by everyone. We consider every minute that God shares him with us as a blessing. Thank you, and Bill, for helping us to help Solace.
You are welcome. Oh, and a thought that has occurred to me as I have read entries on your website. When you bring these poor neglected things in and you and your volunteers do such an amazing job cleaning them up, I feel like that alone must make them feel better. I wondered do you know the WD-40 trick on manes and tails? It’s cheaper than cream rinse and works like a charm. Use it first to take all the knots and tangles out then a good shampoo and they look like they’ve had a day at the spa:-) My wonderful husband doesn’t know which end of a horse eats but he’s the smartest person I know….I’m a racetrack bum from way back and still have Thoroughbreds racing
