Lennie

Senior Thoroughbred mare Lennie was adopted together with Derek, our Arabian gelding! Of course we miss them, but they deserve their own human family. We rescued Lennie along with her donkey pal, Michelle, in December, 2021. They were our annual “Christmas Saves,” whereby each year we try to help a horse in need over the holidays. Lennie came to us in very poor condition but she recovered and is doing well. Derek had been adopted out before but we had to bring him back back (no fault of his own). We hope and pray that this works out for them. Adoption is meant to be a lifetime commitment.
