Big Boy

Big Boy lives up to his name! He is big, beautiful, and kind. He is being adopted out as a trail horse (with a weight limitation not to exceed 200 lbs (combined rider/tack). He’s only been ridden a few times here at the rescue but has done really well. 

Big Boy is good with the farrier and trailers nicely. He is up to date on everything. His teeth were done by our equine dentist Dr. Darrow on May 13, 2019 and there was a finding of a cavity in one canine. There is nothing that needs to be done at this time, but Big Boy needs to be monitored for any discomfort – at some point he will likely need surgery to remove the tooth (an est. $1500 procedure).
