SeAnna was one of several animals that had been abandoned on a property on the East Coast of Florida after Hurricane Matthew came through. She was one of the lucky ones that survived. Sadly, we learned that SeAnna had been adopted from a rescue organization only a few months before. Humans failed this precious soul more than once.

When we brought her to Beauty’s Haven in late November of 2016 she was in very poor condition. She was at least 300 lbs. underweight – barely a body condition score of 1. How anyone could just walk away and leave any animal behind to starve is something we will never be able to understand. SeAnna’s rehabilitation went well and she transformed into an absolutely beautiful horse.
