November 18th, 2013 Update
I’m on my way out the door for a dental appt but want to start everyone’s day here with a smile. Remember Vegas (aka Sonny)? He’s a happy boy! The young lady looks pretty happy too.

Baby Ray had a follow up vet exam and he is doing great!
Eagle has landed in his adoptive home!

You know I fell in love w/ Baby Girl & I think she deserves the title “Horse of the Year” @ the upcoming Eclipse Awards, but those awards are for the Thoroughbreds that race. There’s also the Vox Populi award that was first given to Zenyatta by Penny Chenery (owner of Secretariat) in 2010 & Paynter (4got what yr. b/c I’ve got a one-tract mind which is on Jolly’s recovery).
Baby Girl has shown so MUCH COURAGE & DETERMINATION!!! With prayers to God & ALL you did for her she was able to make it!!! Such a brave, beautiful girl who has managed also to trust the “good” humans that have helped her so very, very much even after all the horrible neglect & abuse she had to go thru until you rescued her. She was up against some wicked, evil “whatever” b/c people that do things such as this don’t…ok, NOT gonna go there, but you know how I feel!! Baby Girl fought like a “TRUE CHAMPION” W/ SO MUCH HEART & STRENGTH!!!
I wish they had some type of MAJOR award for horses like Baby Girl & sooooo many others (i.e., Betsy Rose, Indy, etc, etc, etc)!!!! Oh well, like Baby Girl really cares!! LOL!!
Whoa, Donovan is gorgeous & I luv Dayo!! Is Dayo a longhorn? Yeah, I know I live in Texas but don’t know a whole lot about cattle except they are abused horribly also. I know I’m a hypocrite b/c I was raised eating beef but trying to cut it outta my diet b/c I can’t stand what they do to the steers, cows & even calves.
REMINDER: I’m sending a donation via PayPal on Nov. 29th (would send now but tapped out due to losing so much pay when I was out sick). I would like it to be split btw Betsy Rose & Mollie. You decide who needs what the most. Fell in luv w/ Betsy Rose like I did w/ Baby Girl, but luv Mollie & all others as well!! Is Indy back @ Beauty’s Haven? It seems like I saw a post w/ u & him (I know it was an Appaloosa) in a photo on Facebook, but I believe that was back when I was sick so I can’t remember.
