Ambrosia Has Her Wings
AMBROSIA HAS HER WINGS
It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that our beloved Ambrosia has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
An ultrasound taken this morning revealed that Ambrosia’s heart was gravely compromised and it was decided
by Theresa, together with her team of veterinarians, that it would be in our brave girl’s best interest to let her go.
Ambrosia was granted the very best of care to ensure her survival,
thanks to the love and support of each and every one of you.
Unfortunately, God had other plans….
Theresa is devastated and needs some time.
Ambrosia departed this earth with her head held high, knowing that she was loved as never before.
We love you, Ambrosia.
You will forever remain in each of our hearts.

Thanks to all who participated in Ambrosia’s rescue – and the rescue of so many others. We must take up each soul in need (be it animal or human) with hope of healing … if not always the body, than the spirit so that they know that they matter and someone has put his/her own priorities aside to care for them. Theresa continues to be one of my heroes and though I’m in tears right now, watching the video posted yesterday of Penny and the minis will be good therapy.
Just a guess, but since she was full of fluid and abcesses, I’m sure the heart was hard to see…..I trust the vets knew what they were doing.
Oh, how heartbreaking. RIP Ambrosia & thankyou Theresa & team for continuing to do all you can for these precious creatures.
So heartbroken for you right now. Ambrosia had such a will and even with the damaged heart, she held her head high. She had the VERY best care and love and she knew it., HUGS to you and RIP dear Ambrosia the Brave one
all I can say is that I am in complete shock…after such a good report yesterday and the days prior, to find out that her heart was an issue – I thought this would have been one of the first things evaluated before putting her thru surgery…SSS
