Magic

Magic, a.k.a. ‘Sahir Pegasus’ a beautiful white Arabian stallion, arrived at Beauty’s Haven in March 2007 with a broken spirit and a battered body. Magic had been abused both mentally and physically his entire life. Beaten with a 2 x 4, used in the Mexican sport of “Horse Tripping,” as well as used as a teaser stallion, he’s had a very hard life. He arrived with lumps, bumps, bruises, scars, and what appeared to be rope burns. At times, he would be very much alive and vibrant whilst at other times, he would sadly retreat into his own world. As Theresa gently worked with him, Magic became much more trusting and for the first time in his life, he experienced the joy of being surrounded by love and kindness. One only has to witness the magnificence of Magic as he happily prances throughout his paddock ~ He is truly Poetry in Motion!
