Chloe

Chloe was a beautiful Clydesdale Cross who was born in in 2007. She was a product of the nurse mare industry and was taken from her mother when she was merely days old. At the time, our beloved Cookie had just lost her own baby and understandably, she was completely devastated. Chloe was brought to the farm to be nursed by Cookie which helped heal both their broken hearts.

Chloe was unsound due to sesamoiditis and was a permanent sanctuary horse here at Beauty’s Haven. Over the years we managed to keep her comfortable with supplements, shoes, injections, etc., but her right knee became an issue which progressively worsened. On Wednesday, February 21, 2024, it was unquestionably clear it was time to let her go.
