Mini Me Winners!

Announcing the winners of our two wonderful raffles! FALL FUN MATCH GAME!

In celebration of the arrival of this beautiful fall season, two wonderful
supporters have joined together to offer a most generous $1,100 Match Game!

All donations up to $1,100 will be matched ~ $5 will become $10, $10 will
become $20 etc. Once we receive $1,100 in this Match Game, the funds will
morph into $2,200! Each and every donation is truly appreciated and please
be assured that no donation is ever considered as being too small.

We currently need $465 more in donations in order to meet the $1,100 goal – then it will morph into $$2,200!

Donations are tax deductible and can be made via various means on our

Your votes have done it! We have learned that Theresa’s Eagle Rare Life Award story has made it to the Top 30! Also, five stories from each of the six categories have been chosen and Theresa is now competing with only four others in the “Heroism” category for $5,000. But there’s more!

The Top 30 stories that have received the most votes will be considered for the grand prize of $50,000 regardless of the category in which they have been entered. We must now continue to keep up the momentum by remembering to cast our daily votes to ensure that Theresa remains eligible to win the grand prize of $50,000. JoJo’s “Mini Me” Is Looking For a Home!

October 11th…

“JoJo – who’s that?? He sort of looks like you and me! Come on, let’s go introduce ourselves and welcome him to the rescue!”

“Guess what, Jazzy – I think it’s a Mini Me! Whatcha think? I know there’s only one me, but does he look like me?”

“Mommy Theresa, does this little guy look like me? Even if he does, there’s only one me, right? Is he going to stay? Jazzy and I think he really wants a home of his own!”

Mini Me JoJo is adorable! He even likes to help out in the office! He would make a great addition to any family.

JoJo is too big to come into the office now, but when he used to do so, he was very helpful. And whenever I worked on the computer, he asked a bazillion questions. He’s a hoot!

JoJo’s Mini Me is looking forward to having his own human family soon. He wants a home before the holidays, which will be here before we know it!

We are announcing a wonderful raffle to assist this sweet boy in finding his forever home before the holidays. JoJo’s ‘Mini Me’ is a handmade, crocheted mini donkey with a cute little pink nose and adorable daisy ‘spots.’ He is approximately 3.2 (14″) hands high.

For each suggested donation of $5, you will become eligible to win this sweet crocheted donkey. Donations may be submitted via our PayPal address ~ bhfer@earthlink.net or via various means on the ‘Donate’ Page of our website ~ https://www.bhfer.org. An Obstacle Challenge & More!

September 16th…

Some wonderful news to share about Spirit – she’s ready to go to her new forever home! As soon as we raise funds for her journey to Oklahoma, she will be on her way! Her wonderful adopter has experience with blind horses and the perfect pasture awaiting her arrival! Spirit will even have her very own donkey friend!

Everyone loves Lucy! We appreciate Foxy and Timmie’s mom, Judy, volunteering her time to hold horses for the farrier.

September 17th…

Poor Jingle! The equine complained that it wasn’t fair that the bovine did not have to wear a fly mask. So……

September 18th…

Beauty’s Haven participated in the Equine Trail Sports Obstacle Course event at Black Prong this past weekend where our wonderful volunteers served breakfast and lunch.

All proceeds from the breakfast and lunch went to Beauty’s Haven and $400 was raised to help the horses! Many thanks to ETS, Black Prong, our awesome volunteers, and everyone that made this happen!

EAGLE RARE LIFE – HEROISM

I have nominated Theresa for the Eagle Rare Life Award for Heroism! I’d like to ask for your support in this endeavor by reading her story and then voting for her each day. You don’t have to have a Facebook account to vote! Just click on this link and cast your vote daily and please share amongst family and friends as well!

There are multiple awards which include six $5K prize awards and one grand prize of $50K. The top 30 submitted stories meeting all eligibility requirements will be judged by the Sponsor, or its independent agent(s) who will determine which will be displayed on the Eagle Rare “Lead a Rare Life” website. Finalist judging will take place from Jan 5, 2017 to the week of March 6, 2017. All winners will be selected by the week of February 20, 2017.

You can vote once a day. Any voting that appears to be conducted using unfair methods, including the use by an individual of multiple email addresses, robotic, or third-party means, will be eliminated, and the voting party disqualified.

We Made A Splash & Won $3K!

We won 2nd place in the Make a Splash contest! We had no idea they were offering a 2nd and 3rd place! You all rock – the horses will greatly benefit from the $3000!

Much gratitude to Pet Paradise for sponsoring the contest – it’s very generous! We are a little grassroots organization and struggle, constantly. This helps so much!

A Donkey In The Mist!

Aaleyah Belle – she’ll never outgrow her love of sliming everyone.

Bouie and Frodo – happy ponies!

Classy is another special needs sanctuary horse. She has a tracheotomy and arthritis issues in her front feet. She’s a very sweet girl.

July 7th…

Sisco is recovering nicely from his surgery. He’s still on stall rest but gets hand walked some. He’s going to beat this! There is currently a Match Game going on to help him.

July 8th…

A donkey in the mist! Whiskers is growing little bits each day. I’m sure he wishes he had another donkey to play with but JoJo and Jazzy are not nice to him.

July 9th…

Remember when JoJo got into the dishwasher detergent and had an early morning suds party all by himself? Growing up with JoJo has been a great experience – gotta love him! He was squeaky clean that day!

This morning on Frosty’s Knoll. It was beautiful!

Barb took Sisco out for some hand grazing today. We still need help with his vet needs. The GoFundMe currently includes a Match Game! Please consider helping – no amount is too small.

So thankful for the shade trees! Mishka loves standing under it – there is a mister at the top.

The gap is continues to widen between 1st and 2nd place in the #MakeASplash contest. Unfortunately, you have to vote via Facebook. Your vote, once every 24 hours through July 31st is so greatly needed! And what will help even more is if you share amongst family and friends and ask them to vote and share as well.

We CAN do this with your help! We have never been fortunate enough to win anything close to $10,000. Although it is a constant and exhausting struggle trying to raise money and take care of the horses all day long, it is truly worth every moment, knowing that we are making a difference in the life of each and every equine that enters through our gates. We are Beauty’s Haven Farm and Equine Rescue, a place where ‘Life begins, again!’
