BH Thanksgiving Day 2014!

The boys learned about Thanksgiving Day this morning while they ate their breakfast. Well, JoJo had finished his but Jazzy takes time and savors every bite.

This is a morning dove that was learning to fly – he landed on one of the feed tubs that was about to be washed at the wash rack. There is a nest in the rafters there. We haven’t seen this one or the parents since he flew off. We hope they are all safe.

It was great to have both of our human kids home today – they are seldom here at the same time. This is Joshua and yes, he is very tall. Katie cooked a wonderful meal – she’s a great cook! We even took time out to watch a movie with them.They both attend college in Gainesville and share an apartment there. Joshua is going to be a pharmacist and Katie a physical therapist. So proud of both of them!

Jenny came home for a few days – we really miss her! Kylie and Brandon stopped in for a few minutes and Marie, Eva, and Billie came this morning to help out.

Marie and Billie came and got many of the morning chores in record time! And Eva tackled the chores at the mini’s and Magic’s. We truly appreciate our volunteers – each and every one of them makes a difference. Yes, we really do have much to be thankful for!

Daisy got to go out with the boys today – she really enjoyed it. She’s a happy little donkey – she ran and played and brayed! So, now I sometimes find 3 mini donk’s hanging around at the bottom of the porch stairs.

CaryLou and JoJo both have "me first" syndrome and have to be in the middle of everything. LOL

Well, caught red handed. CaryLou was determined to destroy the "keep the donkey in" sign on the gate.

And he almost did!
