Update
After many hours and tests at the hospital, and finally getting fluids and then being told I was being admitted, I advised the Dr. I was not about to stay there (for a few reasons). Discharge diagnosis of gastroenteritis, the flu, early pneumonia. I got meds for nausea, the flu, antibiotics, etc. I likely should not have waited so long to get help but each night I went to bed thinking I would feel better in the am but it didn’t happen. They say there is a lot of this going around. I haven’t been anywhere to pick up anything so I don’t know how it happened. I do have a weak immune system so it’s not hard for me to pickup things. Anyway, I’m going to get better and get up and going in the next day or so – gradually work up my days. I don’t want to go through this again!

Take care of yourself Theresa……. you come first.. they all understand what you have done and are doing,, don’t hurt yourself…..
You need to take care of yourself first,so that you can take care of others.
You probably should have listened to the docs Theresa. Like you with horses they know what advice to give sick people. Please reconsider and get the proper treatment….this is nothing to fool around with as people are loosing this battle all over the country right now. You may need professional care round the clock to pull out of this.

So sorry to hear you’ve been so sick & hoping you WILL take the time to get some rest b/c these kind of things can be more serious than we think (or what the dr’s think, for that matter; I personally would trust a good vet over a human M. D.) & you need to give your body time to recover. Hoping & praying you are much better & will take care of yourself!!!! I was recently sick for about a month & 1 week (different problem) & I overdid things this past Sat. & had to go back to a dr. on Mon. to get some antibiotics & I know how you’re used to being so very busy all the time, but you need to fully recover before you start going full blast again!!! Take care of yourself!!!
