We apologize for any old updates that went out again this evening. I’m not sure what happened but hopefully I can get some tech support tomorrow to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
Thank you,
Theresa

Your votes have done it! We have learned that Theresa’s Eagle Rare Life Award story has made it to the Top 30! Also, five stories from each of the six categories have been chosen and Theresa is now competing with only four others in the “Heroism” category for $5,000. But there’s more!
The Top 30 stories that have received the most votes will be considered for the grand prize of $50,000 regardless of the category in which they have been entered. We must now continue to keep up the momentum by remembering to cast our daily votes to ensure that Theresa remains eligible to win the grand prize of $50,000. Please note that voting ends on January 5th.
Thank you so very much to our wonderful village of supporters! It is because of the dedication and support of each and every one of you that we have achieved placement in the Top 30! Just click on this link and cast your vote! And please share and ask others to vote as well. Can you imagine the great impact this could have on the rescue and helping more horses?
Thank you all, for your continued love and support!

Aaleyah Belle and her silly tongue. There’s nothing that can compare to being slimed by her!
The horses are loving the cool temperatures. We all are!
October 25th…
“Come on JoJo – let’s play kick the can! Um, I mean kick the bucket!”
October 26th…
Prayers please. Aaleyah Belle is colicing.
October 27th…
I’m happy to report that Aaleyah Belle is feeling much better after her gas colic yesterday! Chloe and Aaleyah were both happy to go back down to their paddock this morning. Thank you all for your good thoughts and prayers yesterday.
Please remember to cast your daily vote today in the Eagle Rare Life contest. It could help to win $5K to $50K for the horses! Just click on this link and cast your vote!

Thanks to Bonnie, Lucy now has a bell that she wears so that Sawyer can better keep track of her. Sawyer is an elderly pony with greatly diminished vision. He often gets upset when he can’t find his BFF, Lucy. Thank you Bonnie!
October 21st…
Even in the early morning sunrise, JoJo and Jazzy play.
“Good morning, Mommy Theresa! Come on, let’s get the day going! It’s Friday you know. And lookie – me and Jazzy already put our fly masks on!”
October 22nd…
Beauty is always beautiful – even in her flymask.
Our first hay purchase of the fall season. Very glad it’s available but not happy with the extra expense.
October 11th…
“JoJo – who’s that?? He sort of looks like you and me! Come on, let’s go introduce ourselves and welcome him to the rescue!”
“Guess what, Jazzy – I think it’s a Mini Me! Whatcha think? I know there’s only one me, but does he look like me?”
“Mommy Theresa, does this little guy look like me? Even if he does, there’s only one me, right? Is he going to stay? Jazzy and I think he really wants a home of his own!”
Mini Me JoJo is adorable! He even likes to help out in the office! He would make a great addition to any family.
JoJo is too big to come into the office now, but when he used to do so, he was very helpful. And whenever I worked on the computer, he asked a bazillion questions. He’s a hoot!
JoJo’s Mini Me is looking forward to having his own human family soon. He wants a home before the holidays, which will be here before we know it!
We are announcing a wonderful raffle to assist this sweet boy in finding his forever home before the holidays. JoJo’s ‘Mini Me’ is a handmade, crocheted mini donkey with a cute little pink nose and adorable daisy ‘spots.’ He is approximately 3.2 (14″) hands high.
For each suggested donation of $5, you will become eligible to win this sweet crocheted donkey. Donations may be submitted via our PayPal address ~ bhfer@earthlink.net or via various means on the ‘Donate’ Page of our website ~ https://www.bhfer.org. Please designate your contribution for: ‘JoJo Mini Me.’ Funds will be used to support the horses at the rescue.
The winning name will be selected at Beauty’s Haven Farm & Equine Rescue, Inc., which is Located in Morriston, FL, at 9:00 pm on October 31, 2015. We are a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization. Donations are tax-deductible. EIN: 20-4783950.
