Wanda and her daughter, Martina, came out and clipped Sunset today – what a job that was! It took hours and I can’t thank them enough!
This is Roxy with Sunset. Sunset’s PMU stall number is branded on her hip. I don’t know how many babies she’s had but I bet it’s been quite a few.
And voila! Sunset feels so much better! She usually stands next to a big water tank and snorkels much of the day. But after her spa time she walked around and grazed and seemed to carry herself in a manner that said she was very happy with her new look – she is much more comfortable. She’s put on all the weight she needs to – she could use some muscling up but that may take awhile. She will be going to her new home in a couple of weeks.
I wandered out for a bit today and it felt good! I’m getting better slowly – baby steps. It’s not easy but it is what it is and I don’t want to go backwards. Thanks to everyone that came out and helped – it was a surprise to see so many volunteers here! And Kathy came to visit – it was a beautiful day! How beautiful? Just look at the smile on Rayo’s face!
Sincerely,
Theresa
