BHFER September 25th – 30th Update

September 25th

Look how well Bella is doing! This is Brody and Bella practicing up for a trail ride!

Handsome and Attagirl have become friends.

Attagirl clearly had her head buried in hay in her stall. LOL

September 26th

Kiana is doing wonderful – Jody and her family love her to the moon and back!

September 28th

It was another VERY busy weekend! Much got done with help from many others. JoJo always has to be the center of attention!

I’m happy to report that Donovan is doing better. We think (hope and pray) that his abscessing is over. He’s walking much better. We had rains all evening, again, which doesn’t help the ones having abscess issues. The barn has been a busy place – all stalls have pretty much been occupied.

September 29th

Our wonderful adult "kids" that make us so very proud!

September 30th

The "Welcome Committee" greeting Auntie Sue.
"Auntie Sue you don’t have any flymasks in your car do you? If you do, I don’t need any, ok? Anyways, lookie up in the sky – the clouds are out!" Silly JoJo.

Evidence of the sound of little itty bitty tiny feet. The ground is still soaked and more rains are coming.

Victoria was up today more than she’s been in several days. She has a pretty good size abscess in her front right toe that needs to resolve. But it’s really good to see her feeling better. Please continue to keep her in your prayers.

Attagirl’s ear is healing nicely. Her front feet still need some time – the right one mostly. She’s such a sweet girl.

Remember Lacey? She’s loved very much and is doing great!

Peaches is still mending a soft tissue injury. She had some increased heat in her front right today – she may have an abscess trying to resolve too. Everything is still saturated here. We need the rains to let up for a few days. We have a new volunteer – this was Anita’s 2nd day with us! She tagged with Marie yesterday and with Lisa today. A lot got done but there is always much more to do. We do truly appreciate all of our volunteers – we couldn’t do this without them!

Ginger and Athena are doing well. Athena has put on a bit of weight. Now we just need to get her into shape. Both mares are looking for forever homes.

Hey friends! JoJo invites you to write a review at about us for the GreatNonprofits Top-Rated List! ^tb #bhfer#JoJo
